2018 U2 to U18 Fall and Winter Recreational Programs

PROGRAM AGES AND LOCATIONS

  • Programs based on birth year:
    • Little Clippers - 2015 and 2016 at the West End Boys and Girls Club.
    • Active Start - 2013 and 2014 at the West End Boys and Girls Club.
    • FUNdamentals - 2010, 2011 and 2012 at the West End Boys and Girls Club.
    • Coed House League - 2001 to 2010 at the Thousand Island Sports Complex (Westbrooke Dome )

Registration Information

  • The SportsEngine registration software allows for secure Credit Card payment through the SportsEngine payment portal. 
  • Registration must be paid in full if paying online or received within 1 week of registration, OR before the program starts if paying offline.  Payment MUST be received in full (except if waiting for subsidy, proof of application required) before a player will be assigned to a team.
  • When registering, you will be required to used your SportsEngine account. If this is your first time registering with us you must create a player/member profile account with SportsEngine as part of the registration process. This is quite simple to do!

Program Descriptions

Little Clippers 
  • Open to children aged 2 to 3 years old born in 2015 and 2016
  • Choice of 4 sessions  - Saturday OR Sunday mornings at 9:00 am OR 9:30 am. (Days and times subject to change depending on registration numbers)
  • All sessions at the West End Hub Boys and Girls' Club.
  • Registration Fees are:
    • $75 for the 10 week Fall OR Winter Session
    • $135 for the full 20 week Fall and Winter Session.
  • Fall session begins October 13/14 and ends December 15/16
  • Winter Session begins January 12/13 and ends March 30/31 (No sessions March 9/10 or March 16/17 for March Break)
  • 30 minute sessions with parent on field with player and  certified coaching staff in the B&G Club's soccer specific facility with a turf field.
  • The Little Clippers participants will receive a t-shirt that they can keep at the end of the season.
Active Start 
  • Open to children born 2013 and 2014
  • Choice of 2 sessions - Saturday OR Sunday mornings at 10:00 am  at the West End Hub Boys and Girls' Club  (times subject to change based on enrollment).
  • Registration Fees are:
    • $125 for the 10 week Fall OR Winter Session
    • $235 for the full 20 week Fall and Winter Session.
  • Fall session begins October 13/14 and ends December 15/16
  • Winter Session begins January 12/13 and ends March 30/31 (No sessions March 9/10 or March 16/17 for March Break)
  • 60 minute session with certified coaches in the B&G Club's soccer specific facility with a turf field.
  • The Active Start participants will receive a t-shirt that they can keep at the end of the season.
FUNdamentals
  • Open to children born in 2010, 2011 and 2012
  • Choice of 4 sessions  - Saturday OR Sunday mornings at 11:00 am (2011/2012) OR 12:00 pm (2010/2011) West End Hub Boys and Girls' Club (times subject to change based on enrollment).
  • Registration Fees are:
    • $125 for the 10 week Fall OR Winter Session
    • $235 for the full 20 week Fall and Winter Session.
  • Fall session begins October 13/14 and ends December 15/16
  • Winter Session begins January 12/13 and ends March 30/31 (No sessions March 9/10 or March 16/17 for March Break)
  • 60 minute session with certified coaches in the B&G Club's new soccer specific facility with a turf field.
  • The Fundamentals participants will receive a t-shirt that they can keep at the end of the season.
Co-ed House League
  • Open to boys and girls born in 2001 to 2010
  • One 55 minute game a week with certified referee on the turf fields at the 1000 Island Sportsplex (Westbrook Dome)
  • League Game Times:
    • 2008/09/10 - Saturday 10:00 am - 11:00 am
    • 2006/07 - Saturday 10:00 am - 11:00 am
    • 2004/05 - Saturday 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
    • 2001/02/03 - Saturday 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
  • Registration Fees are:
    • $150 for the 10 week Fall OR Winter Session
    • $270 for the full 20 week Fall and Winter Session
  • Fall session begins Saturday, October 13 and ends Saturday, December 22 (no games December 8)
  • Winter session begins  Saturday, January 5th and ends Saturday, March 23. No sessions on March 9 and 16 due to March Break.

Interested in Coaching?

HELP! We need coaches 18 and older for our House League Teams! 

All of our House League coaches are volunteers. They are the ones who are vital in determining whether your son or daughter has a successful season, not necessarily by winning but by learning about sportsmanship, teamwork, and by learning some soccer skills at the same time.

Shared coaching positions are also a great idea; get a friend or neighbour to help.  

A POLICE CHECK is MANDATORY for coaches who are coaching U13 and older teams  and those volunteers without children in the club. KCSC will cover the cost.  

Coaching clinics and information are available. *Session dates to be announced.

Additional Registration Information

Payment Fee structure - NEW

When paying fees online, they must be paid in full.  If choosing to pay offline, payments MUST be received within 1 week OR before the program starts or your player will not be assigned to a team. You will be prompted for a Offline payment code which you can acquire by calling our office at 613-384-6196.

** If you wish to arrange an alternative payment plan or make payments by cheque please contact our office and we will be happy to assist. **

When coming into the office to make your payment, please note that we unfortunately DO NOT accept DEBIT at this time. Payment can me made in person by cash, cheque, or credit. Thank you. 

Financial Assistance

When you register your child enter in the comments section that you are applying for financial assistance. Players that are applying for assistance through Jumpstart require confirmation from the organization that the application has been received before the player is assigned to a team, you don't have to receive your assistance before your child will be placed.

REFUND POLICY - New information 

If a player must de-register, a refund request must be completed and sent to the Registrar by email to: info@clipperssoccer.com

Requests received before December 18, 2018  will receive a full refund less a $25 administration fee.  Requests after this point will receive prorated refund less a $25 administration fee.  Refunds will not be granted after January 21, 2019.

Family Discount

Families (3 or more in the  House League  programs) will be given a  discount.  You must register all players at the same time to receive the family discount.
