2019/20 Fall and Winter Recreational Programs Registration

PROGRAM AGES AND LOCATIONS

Fall 2019: (programs based on birth year)

  • Little Clippers - 2017 and 2018 at the West End Boys and Girls Club.
  • Active Start - 2015 and 2016 at the West End Boys and Girls Club.
  • FUNdamentals - 2012, 2013 and 2014 at the West End Boys and Girls Club.
  • U8 Advanced Development Program (ADP) - 2012 at the West End Boys and Girls Club.
  • Coed House League - 2002 to 2011 at the Thousand Island Sports Complex (Westbrooke Dome ). 

Winter 2019:

  • Little Clippers - 2017 and 2018 at the West End Boys and Girls Club.
  • Active Start - 2015 and 2016 at the West End Boys and Girls Club or 785 Sir John A. MacDonald Blvd.
  • FUNdamentals - 2012, 2013 and 2014 at the West End Boys and Girls Club or 785 Sir John A. MacDonald Blvd.
  • U8 Advanced Development Program (ADP) - 2012 at the West End Boys and Girls Club.
  • Coed House League - 2002 to 2011 at the Thousand Island Sports Complex (Westbrooke Dome ). 

Registration Information

Do I have to Register for the Winter Session?

  • If you originally registered for both the Fall and Winter Sessions (and took advantage of our discount price), you do not have to register for the Winter Registration
  • If you originally registered for only the Fall Session, you must register for the Winter Session to be eligible to play starting in January.

Additional Registration Information

  • The SportsEngine registration software allows for secure Credit Card payment through the SportsEngine payment portal. 
  • Registration must be paid in full if paying online or received within 1 week of registration, OR before the program starts if paying offline.  Payment MUST be received in full (except if waiting for subsidy, proof of application required) before a player will be assigned to a team.
  • When registering, you will be required to used your SportsEngine account. If this is your first time registering with us you must create a player/member profile account with SportsEngine as part of the registration process. This is quite simple to do!

Program Descriptions

 
Little Clippers 
  • Open to children aged 2 to 3 years old born in 2017 and 2018
  • Choice of 4 sessions  - Saturday OR Sunday mornings at 9:00 am OR 9:30 am. (Days and times subject to change depending on registration numbers)
  • All sessions at the West End Hub Boys and Girls' Club.
  • Registration Fees are:
    • $75 for the 10 week Fall OR Winter Session
    • $135 for the full 20 week Fall and Winter Session.
  • Fall sessions begin October 19/20 and end December 21/22
  • Winter sessions begins January 4/5 and end March 7/8 
  • 30 minute sessions with parent on field with player and  certified coaching staff at the B&G Club's indoor turf field.
  • The Little Clippers participants will receive a t-shirt that they can keep at the end of the season.
Active Start 
  • Open to children born 2015 and 2016
  • Fall:  Saturday OR Sunday mornings at 10:00 am-11:00am  at the West End Hub Boys and Girls' Club  (times subject to change based on enrollment).
  • Winter:
    • Saturday OR Sunday mornings 10:00 am-11:00am  at the West End Hub Boys and Girls' Club  (times subject to change based on enrollment).
    • Saturday mornings 9:00am-10:00am at our new Jr Gaels Soccer Training Facility: 785 Sir John A. MacDonald Blvd
  • Registration Fees are:
    • $125 for the 10 week Fall OR Winter Session only
    • $225 for the full 20 week Fall and Winter Session.
  • Fall sessions begin October 19/20 and end December 21/22
  • Boys and Girls Club Winter sessions begin January 4/5 and end March 7/8 
  • Jr Gaels Training Facility sessions begin January 18th and end April 4th (no session March 14 or 21)
  • 60 minute session with certified coaches at an indoor turf field.
  • Active Start participants will receive a t-shirt that they can keep at the end of the season.
FUNdamentals
  • Open to children born in 2012, 2013, 2014
  • Fall: Saturday OR Sunday mornings at West End Boys and Girls Club
    • 11:00 am -12:00 pm (2013/2012) - 2012 new players should register for this session
    • 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm (2012/2013) - 2013 returning players should register for this session
  • Winter:
    • Saturday OR Sunday mornings at West End Boys and Girls Club
      • 11:00 am -12:00 pm (2013/2012) - 2012 new players should register for this session
      • 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm (2012/2013) - 2013 returning players should register for this session
    • Saturday mornings 10:00am-11:00am at our new Jr Gaels Soccer Training Facility: 785 Sir John A. MacDonald Blvd
  • Registration Fees are:
    • $125 for the 10 week Fall OR Winter Session
    • $225 for the full 20 week Fall and Winter Session.
  • Fall sessions begin October 19/20 and end December 21/22
  • Boys and Girls Club Winter sessions begin January 4/5 and end March 7/8
  • Jr Gaels Training Facility sessions begin January 18th and end April 4th (no session March 14 or 21)

  • Fundamentals participants will receive a t-shirt that they can keep at the end of the season.
U8 Advanced Development Program (ADP)
  • For male and female players born in 2012 who are interested in developing their skills with the intention of participating in the Development Program in U9
  • 60 minute session led by  Club Development Head Coach Ryan Gardner in the Boys and Girls Club's indoor turf field.
  • Monday evenings from 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm 
  • Registration Fees are:
    • $125 for the 10 week Fall OR Winter Session
    • $225 for the full 20 week Fall and Winter Session.
  • Fall sessions begin October 21 and end December 23
  • Winter sessions begin January 6 and end March 9
Coed House League
  • Open to boys and girls born in 2002 to 2011
  • One  game a week with a certified referee
  • Games take place at the 1000 Island Sportsplex (Westbrook Dome)
  • League Game Times:
    • YOB 2011/2010 - Saturday 10:00 am - 11:00 am
    • YOB 2008/2009 - Saturday 10:00 am - 11:00 am
    • YOB 2006/2007 - Saturday 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
    • YOB 2003/2004/2005 - Saturday 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
  • Registration Fees are:
    • $140 for the 9 week Fall session only
    • $160 for the 10 week Winter session only
    • $270 for the full 20 week Fall and Winter Sessions
  • Fall session begins Saturday, October 19 and ends Saturday, December 21 (no games December 7)
  • Winter session begins  Saturday, January 4th and ends Saturday, March 7.

Interested in Coaching?

HELP! We need coaches 18 and older for our House League Teams! 

All of our House League coaches are volunteers. They are the ones who are vital in determining whether your son or daughter has a successful season, not necessarily by winning but by learning about sportsmanship, teamwork, and by learning some soccer skills at the same time.

Shared coaching positions are also a great idea; get a friend or neighbour to help.  

Coaching clinics and information are available. *Session dates to be announced.

Additional Registration Information

Payment Fee structure - NEW

When paying fees online, they must be paid in full.  If choosing to pay offline, payments MUST be received within 1 week OR before the program starts or your player will not be assigned to a team. You will be prompted for a Offline payment code which you can acquire by calling our office at 613-384-6196.

** If you wish to arrange an alternative payment plan or make payments by cheque please contact our office and we will be happy to assist. **

When coming into the office to make your payment, please note that we unfortunately DO NOT accept DEBIT at this time. Payment can me made in person by cash, cheque, or credit. Thank you. 

Financial Assistance

When you register your child enter in the comments section that you are applying for financial assistance. Players that are applying for assistance through Jumpstart require confirmation from the organization that the application has been received before the player is assigned to a team, you don't have to receive your assistance before your child will be placed.

REFUND POLICY - New information 

If a player must de-register, a refund request must be completed and sent to the Registrar by email to: info@clipperssoccer.com

Requests received before December 18, 2018  will receive a full refund less a $30 administration fee.  Requests after this point will receive prorated refund less a $30 administration fee.  Refunds will not be granted after January 21, 2019.
