Clippers Announce Breanna Burton Joining Our Coaching Ranks

Breanna Burton Technical Coach For Clippers 2004/05 Girls Team

The Kingston Clippers are pleased to announce that Breanna Burton will be joining our technical coaching team. Breanna will focus on working with our 2004/05 Girls Team.

Breanna began her soccer career in her hometown of Ottawa, ON and went on to compete at both the varsity and semi-professional levels. Breanna played 4 years of varsity soccer at Queen’s University while completing her undergraduate degree in Health and Physical Education as well as playing for the Ottawa Fury W-League team in 2015 and 2016. Breanna then went on to play a final year of varsity soccer at the University of Ottawa while completing a Master’s degree in Sports Management. In her 5 years playing varsity soccer, Breanna was the recipient of a U SPORTS gold medal, U SPORTS silver medal, an OUA gold medal, 2 OUA bronze medals, and named a U SPORTS Tournament All-Star.

Breanna has a wealth of experience coaching youth soccer in Kingston and in Ottawa and had the privilege of coaching both male and female athletes raging from ages 5-14, recreational and competitive. Breanna has studied long-term athlete development, sociology and psychology of sport and ethics in sport.

“While I have a passion for competitive success, I see soccer as a tool for healthy active living, a vehicle for personal growth, so creating an environment where every athlete is able to be successful and reach their potential is very important to me.”

As a veteran in the OCSL Women’s Premier league Breanna is also looking forward to another season as member of the Kingston Clipper WP team.
