Register for the Summer 2019 Recreational Programs

Summer Recreational Program Highlights

  • New lower prices! - U4-U18 programs are $150 this summer (a reduction of $15-$25 from last year)
  • Our Recreational Program has been re-branded as the Junior Gaels. This will result in a number of benefits for our players and their families including:
    • Special Junior Gaels programming at the Athletics & Recreation Centre (ARC)
    • Free admission to Gaels sporting events (some restrictions apply)
    • Opportunities to meet and learn from current Gaels athletes
    • Coaching support from current Queen's coaches
    • Discounts, promotions and much more!


Note that due to overwhelming demand, the following sessions are full or have very few spots left:
  • Little Clippers - Tuesday at 5:30 pm. FULL.
  • U4-U8 at Queen's Miklas-McCarney Field on Monday from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm at Queen's Miklas-McCarney field is FULL.
  • U4 at Queen's Miklas-McCarney Field on Monday from 6:45 pm - 7:45 pm has very limited availability at 6:45 - please contact the office to register. All other divisions are completely FULL.
  • U7 Boys at Jim Beattie Field on Thursday from 7:15 to 8:15 is completely filled.
  • U9/10 Boys on Wednesdays is completely filled,
  • U11/12 Girls on Monday has very limited availability - please contact the office to register.

Little Clippers Program

Due to the overwhelmingly positive feedback received for our 2018 Little Clippers (U2-U3) Summer Season,  the Little Clippers Program will again operate out of the West End Boys and Girls Club on Bath Road in their indoor soccer specific space in 2019.

Little Clippers Highlights:

  • For the convenience of our membership, families will have the option of Tuesday or Thursday nights at one of three start times: 5:30, 6:00 or 6:30.
  • Price of the program is $100.
  • As an added bonus, the Boys and Girls Club will provide supervised play in their state of the art Jungle Gym facility following your soccer session. Over the season, we will also be offering two supervised swims at the Boys and Girls Club pool.
  • All players receive a soccer ball!
  • This year, as well, in response to our past parent exit surveys, we are providing registrants Kingston Clippers T-Shirts, not full uniforms. Hopefully, this will assist families as they prepare their Little Clippers for soccer!

U4 - U18 Recreational Program Highlights:

  • As in previous years, U4-U18 players receive a full uniform, now with the Junior Gaels logo. The U4 to U8 age groups will also receive a soccer ball.
  • Choice of West end location at Jim Beattie Field or Central location at Queen's Miklas-McCarney turf field for U4 to U8 age levels. 
  • Trained technical coaches to deliver program and support the volunteer coaches as required forActive Start and FUNdamentals Programs (U4 - U8).
  • Weekly games with qualified referees for U9-U18 House Leagues finishing with an end-of-year festival or tournament.
  • Extra Kicks on Fridays for U4-U12 players - an extra night of soccer provides additional skill development led by our trained technical coaches as part of your registration!
  • Season starts the week of June 3 and runs for 12 weeks,  culminating with end-of-season events, including a Festival for U9-U12 House League and a Tournament for U13-U18 House League Divisions, during the final week (3rd week of August).
  • Individual team photo 8x10 included with registration. (Picture Day scheduled for late June)

Registration Notes

  1. If you have registered on-line for a program since September 2016, use your Sports Engine username (usually an e-mail address) and password. Click the link at the bottom of the window if you forget your password - you will be prompted to reset it. Note you can also log in using Facebook!

If this is the your first on-line registration since September 2016, create SportsEngine account,by pressing the “Sign Up” button. You will use this SportsEngine account for all future registrations for Clippers’ programs. 

  1. If you are paying online, we accept payments using Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. Please note that will see a charge on your account from REG.NGIN.COM.

Note that if you wish to register your child on-line but pay off-line (ie. by cheque or cash), you must contact us at to confirm the offline payment password before you can register your child. You will not be able to complete the registration without this password.  Please note we do not take debit at this time.

  1. If you are registering more than one child, you must complete the registration for the first child including entering parent information, acknowledging the waivers and reviewing the inputted information before registering the next child. You will see the “Register Another Person” button at the bottom of the Review Registration page .
  2. If you are registering more than one player in your family, you will receive a $50 discount on the 3rd and any additional registration registrants. To get the Family Discount, you must register all of your players during the same registration session. Please understand that we are unable to apply your Family discount unless all children are registered in the same session.

Respect in Sport for Parents

The Respect in Sport Parent Program is a one-hour online module for parents/guardians, reinforcing their role in their child’s activities, encouraging positive sport behaviors, and providing insight into the various roles other individuals play, such as coaches and officials.

This program empowers parents to ensure the safety of their children, encourage positive and effective communication, and to enhance a child's overall enjoyment of soccer.
The online course costs $12 and is transferable to other sports involved in Respect in Sport.
